ALPHATRADE is a complete package of electronic services based on concepts of ease of use, immediacy, speed, and above all, security of transactions.

ALPHATRADE consists of:

  • ALPHA WEB TRADING: Transactions via ALPHA FINANCE’s web site
  • ALPHA PHONE TRADING: Transactions by phone with the assistance of specialized professional representatives
  • ALPHA IVR TRADING: Transactions via an automated voice response system (Interactive Voice Response)

To execute stock market transactions through ALPHATRADE, a client code must exist with ALPHA FINANCE as well as a subscriber ID to ALPHATRADE.

To acquire these codes, you must also have a deposits account with Alpha Bank regardless of the account balance.

Please follow the steps indicated below to gain access to the ALPHATRADE services.

  1. If you are an existing client of ALPHA FINANCE and you haven't signed the necessary application you could:
    • Visit any branch of Alpha Bank and ask for the envelope with the contracts and all other legal documents as well as the necessary application form in order to get informed for the terms and the conditions. Once you complete and sign these forms, the branch of Alpha Bank will make sure to forward them to ALPHA FINANCE. The ALPHATRADE subscriber ID will be sent to you through post.

  2. If you are an existing client of ALPHA FINANCE but you don't have a ALPHATRADE client ID you could:
    • Address to any branch of Alpha Bank or to the premises of our company (6 Dragatsaniou street) and ask to sign the necessary application for the provision of ALPHATRADE services. You should then receive through post the ALPHATRADE subscriber ID with which you will be granted access to all our electronic services.

  3. If you are not a client of ALPHA FINANCE you could:
    • Visit any branch of Alpha Bank and ask for the envelope with the contracts and all other legal documents as well as the ALPHATRADE application form in order to get informed about the terms and conditions.
      As soon as you have read and properly signed them, the branch of Alpha Bank will be responsible for sending them to ALPHA FINANCE. For your convenience, if you already have an Investor and Securities Account on DSS (Dematerialized Securities System) you should use them while filling in the Usage Authorization form. In case you don't have an Investor Account on DSS you should complete the Application For Creation Of Investor Account, Securities And Usage Authorization that you should be able to get from any branch of Alpha Bank.
      The next working day you will receive from the branch of Alpha Bank the subscriber ID to ALPHA FINANCE and then, through post, the subscriber ID ALPHATRADE.

Through all the Alpha Bank branches, you are able to change the bank account number you have already declared at ALPHA FINANCE. By filling out the S06 application form you indicate the new bank account through which your transactions will be settled.

According to the Athens Exchange Rulebook there are 3 trading categories for all stocks. Each stock, based on its trading statistics and financial position, is traded only in one of these categories.

All your orders remain active only during the day that are placed. In case of no execution, all your orders are considered as cancelled after the end of the trading session.
